Faith Ambassadors
Over the years at Pield Heath we have had a team of dedicated Faith Ambassadors who promote the Catholic Ethos of our school. Pupil Chaplaincy has a high profile in our school. They have a vital role in enhancing the Religious and Spiritual Life of our school. Their roles include supporting with class Prayer and Worship, leading prayers and reflections in celebration of the word and helping with other ministries including altar serving for our monthly masses.
Besides supporting with the events during the liturgical year, they are also involved with other areas related to the Catholic Social Teaching. They play an active part when we have guest speakers for example from CAFOD as well as when we support charities such as when The London Air Ambulance visited. They have helped with fundraising events such as taking the donations collected from the Advent reverse calendar to a local foodbank in St Gregory’s Church, Ruislip.
They are good role models and by their active participation they encourage their peers to also be active global citizens.
This is a summary of some of the areas which they are involved with annually|:
- Giving joyful witness of Christ in school – continuing the work of Jesus’ disciples and encouraging all pupils to put God first and live out their faith in their daily living.
- Taking a lead role with introducing the theme for our Annual Christmas Performances.
- Assisting with the delivery and development of the prayer life of the school; supporting celebration of the word, worship, class prayer times and prayer groups.
- Altar Servers at our monthly masses.
- Supporting with social justice activities in school.
- Being active global citizens. Developing outreach work and supporting local, national and international charities – CAFOD: working for change being the change makers.
We are very proud of our Faith Ambassadors
Faith Ambassadors in Action
Advent Service
We were pleased to welcome RE Champions from St Catherine’s Primary School in the Diocese who spent the day with our Faith Ambassadors. We had a joint service in the Chapel, took part in an Advent related craft activity and enjoyed socialising with each other over lunch.

Reverse Advent Calendar
VBC/ E and the RE Ambassadors organised a reverse Advent Calendar. This year the collection went to St. Gregory’s, South Ruislip, which was extra special as this was a designated Jubilee Church.
