Our Prayer Life
At Pield Heath we help our pupils to develop a reverential attitude in their prayer life and to make prayer a natural part of their daily lives. Pupils are exposed to a variety of prayer experiences, both formal and informal, private and communal. Pupils are given opportunities to compose their own prayers and take an active part in our weekly Celebration of the Word.
Signalong is used to support with learning the Traditional prayers of the Church such as The Our Father, The Hail Mary and The Glory Be.

Daily liturgical prayer takes place either as a whole school, key stage or class. It provides an opportunity for pupils and staff to worship and reflect on the scripture and consider spiritual, moral, social and cultural issues.
In addition to this we have a whole school Mass every month and pupils support as altar servers.

Advent in various ways to help us prepare for the great Feast of Christmas. We had an Advent Service to mark the start of the Season. Students took part in designing Advent Wreaths and marked the 4 weeks of Advent by decorating candles and staff took part in an Advent Service.

As a school we have a Saint who we focus on for each month – click here to see the Saints we pray to every month. To see our Saints Presentation click here.

In addition to praying to these Saints we also have a specific Saint for each of the 3 Pathways.
