Lead in Administration of SEND Statutory Processes

40 hours per week, Term Time + 5 Staff Training Days + 120 additional hours during school holidays (42 weeks)

Salary: Grade 7, NJC Scale Points 20-24 £37,108.34 - £39,293.15 actual per annum (dependent on experience)

We are currently looking to recruit a Lead in Administration of SEND Statutory Processes to lead and manage the SEND administration pathway from admission through to transition, ensuring a high-quality, statutory compliant and person-centred provision and process. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic and operational leadership of SEND statutory processes, admissions, attendance, family engagement and multi-disciplinary coordination.

Key duties will include:

  • Lead statutory SEND processes including EHCP Annual Reviews.
  • Manage and quality assure the admissions and initial assessment process.
  • Lead attendance monitoring and targeted intervention strategies.
  • Develop strong partnerships with families to remove barriers to engagement.
  • Coordinate multi‑disciplinary professionals supporting students.
  • Ensure compliance with SEND legislation and statutory guidance.

37.5 hours per week as follows: - Monday 8.30am – 4.30pm, Tuesday to Thursday 8.30am – 4.00pm, Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm, Term Time Only + 5 Staff Training Days

We are looking for versatile, resilient and committed Level 1 Special Support Assistants to work alongside class teachers, assisting the children and young people with their work and supporting with student behaviour whilst establishing effective relationships with both students and staff.

You will be someone who is able to learn, develop and adapt practices quickly and efficiently. You will be required to support across all key stages acting as a role model and responding to individual needs.

We are looking for people who want to make a difference and be part of an inspiring and creative team whilst assisting students in their learning.

Speech & Language Therapist - Band 6

Hours: 40 hours per week, term time plus an additional 120 hours to be worked across the year plus staff training days

Salary: NJC Grade 8 -9, Scale Points 25 – 32; £38,602.41 - £44,965.14 actual per annum

We are looking for a motivated, flexible and innovative Band 6 Speech & Language Therapist to join our Speech and Language Therapy department. The successful candidate will work with colleagues to promote the holistic development of independence and functional skills informed by the latest evidence-based practices and will be accountable for delivering a quality service. Our streams of provision focus on interventions that support difficulties with feeding, speech, language, social communication and developing Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) at universal, targeted and specialist levels. 

The Pield Heath Speech and Language Therapy department is a friendly, motivated team who strive to provide high quality therapy.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Confidence, enthusiasm and a passion for learning.
  • An ability to work closely with therapists from other disciplines in order to integrate SaLT goals into the educational setting.
  • The ability to build good working relationships with children, teachers, parents and carers.
  • Knowledge of clinical assessment, treatment planning and implementation of therapy programmes.
  • An independent approach and be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of standardised assessment and clinical observation.
  • The ability to promote positive behaviour in a nurturing environment is essential.
