School Meals

There is a Breakfast Club between 8.30 – 9.00am to enable students to have breakfast when they arrive, as many have an early start.

Meals are cooked on the premises and served in the school dining room, there is a choice of two hot meals – either meat or vegetarian – and there is always a salad option.

Menu for the Spring Term 2021 can be found here.

Arrangements can be made for students requiring a special diet for health or religious reasons, if your child has any special dietary requirements please indicate this on their ‘Application for Admission’ Form.

Meals are charged at £10 per week (£2 per day) which can be paid each term, half-term or weekly as follows:

By ParentPay – We operate a cashless system in school whereby all payments are made online using the ParentPay system, a link can be found under the ‘School Life’ tab. You should have a log on and password specifically for your child’s account. If for any reason you have not got these details please contact the finance office who will be able to provide you with all the information.

By BACS transfer direct to school – please contact the finance office for our account details.

By cheque – made payable to ‘Pield Heath House School’ – or cash sent on Monday morning, with your child’s escort, in an envelope marked clearly with ‘Dinner Money’ and your child’s name.

Your child may, if they prefer, bring in their own packed lunch, but students are not allowed products containing nuts as we have pupils with severe nut allergies. Drinks should be stored in unbreakable containers, fizzy drinks and glass bottles are not allowed.

If your family is in receipt of benefits you may be entitled to free school meals. Please complete an ‘Application for Free School Meals’ form identifying which benefit you are in receipt of and return the signed form with a photocopy of the DWP letter that supports your application. A copy of the Free School Meals application form can be requested from the school office.
