On Friday 6th March we are looking forward to welcoming a group of 12 politicians and leaders from Norddjurs, a Danish municipality, who are interested in learning more about our work with OCN (Open College Network) to prepare our young people for adulthood.
Our students enjoy learning a range of skills for life, in association with OCN, including media studies, expressive arts, catering and sports leadership. Examples of these will be shown to our Danish visitors alongside a presentation and case studies.
This visit has been organized after a request by the Danish political committee. Lars Møller, Chairman and one of the Danish politicians visiting commented: “We were recommended to visit Pield Heath House School and are very much looking forward to understanding more about the benefits of using the OCN system as an accreditation method for learning for those with special needs. I hope that after our visit we will be able to establish something similar to Pield Heath School’s way of working with OCN”
