Cycle Track and Mobility Training Centre Opens

Today we held an opening ceremony for the newly constructed Cycle Track and Mobility Training Centre which has been built within the school grounds thanks to the generosity of TfL and Marathon Trust and with the support of Hillingdon Council.

The opening ceremony was performed by Councillor Burrows with Becki Benjamin, the godmother of one of our students, who has already raised almost £2000 by completing the London to Brighton bike ride, funds which will be used to purchase cycles and safety equipment for use on the track.

This is a safe area for students to learn to ride a bike and the mobility training centre supports the teaching of travel training in a real and safe environment.

This facility will be available, not only for the use of our students but also for those from other SEN schools in the borough and for the local community.
