Year 11 go on Work Experience to Heathrow Special Needs Farm

Our Year 11 students are greatly looking forward to next week as they are going on work experience to Heathrow Special Needs Farm.

There they will help look after 70 animals including goats, pigs, horses and ponies, donkeys, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, ducks, turkey and sheep. They will also help grow plants and vegetables.

All activities will assist our students in learning not only about the tasks themselves but also about working as part of a team and following instructions, all very valuable life skills designed to further increase their confidence.
