Fresh from Sadlers Wells we are absolutely delighted and honoured to welcome ILL-ABILITIES, from the USA, who are holding an Expressive Arts dance event consisting of both a motivating and inclusive dance workshop and a performance in school on Tuesday 10th June.
ILL-Abilities are an International breakdance crew comprised of dancers that have overcome extraordinary challenges, who recently headlined the Sadlers Wells Breakin Convention Programme. With members from Canada, Chile, Holland and USA, the group was originally created in 2007 with the idea of being a ‘Super Crew’ of disabled dancers and is now becoming a global movement helping to spread the message: No Excuses, No Limits. Their mission is to redefine society’s view of disability, promote empowerment, and encourage limitless possibilities through motivational entertainment.
ILL-Abilities uses motivational entertainment programmes, integrated dance workshops and theatrical performances to help individuals discover tools, a mind-set, and a voice that will enable them to evolve and develop their lives within their passion.
